If it's where I think it is, it's a very short walk from BTS Siam (Central).

Exit Siam station. Go to the south side of the street (other side from Paragon Mall) and walk down soi 5. You'll see it toward the end on the left. It's adjacent to the empty construction site which used to be a movie theater until it was torched last May.

I could meet at 1 but would prefer it to not be much later.

I'm fairly certain you know the place. It is the restaurant that we were going to go to the night you and I met with hiyo and some others IIRC. Careful what you order as much of the food is quite spicy. The fried chicken is amazing!

Yosi introduced me to this restaurant last year.... but spicy? Really?

Anyway, please let me know this evening if it's a go/no go for Som Tam Nua Friday Oct 14 at 1PM.

A few things came up this morning and I'm going to need to pass on lunch today. Apologies for the last minute cancellation.

Enjoy the food, it's not bad.

Sorry to have missed it. Instead I got caught in a downpour and accomplished nothing.

Going to my plane now.

Arrived earlier today, now sat in the Living Room at the SGS with Pat and the Bear enjoying happy hour whilst the Jet-Lag starts to kick in!

If there is anyone else at the SGS by all means say "Hi", (We're probably off down the road to C&C for dinner tonight, weather permitting) but we'd be up to meet up tomorrow if anyone fancies it.

Cheers,

Ken

Willard the Bear - They're lightweights - I don't suffer from Jet-Lag!!

Thumbs up Yet another successful BKK FT Meet!

Twas great to meet up with hvr, seanthepilot and partner last night!

Finally got to see the remodelled Bar-Su at the SGS (It's always been closed when I've been there in the past) and enjoy the company of our fellow FT-ers.

Leaving the "young-uns" to enjoy the live band at Bar-Su, hvr joined us at Cabbages & Condoms where we enjoyed what was definitely the last meal of the night (arrived 5 mins before the kitchen closed), before going back to close (and in my case, wreck) the Living Room at the SGS

Great company and good conversation, another win for the (perhaps now legendary) FT BKK Meet a Flyertalker Thread!

Willard the Bear - and I got to show Beeker how hectic a Bear's social life can get!
