But I was burned by the Eiffel Tower restaurant in Paris not participating (neither does Mon Ami Gabi), yet Gordon Ramsay does.

If you've narrowed down your restaurant choices, I'd just call and ask.

Thanks, controller, printing that out and putting it with my next tickets to Vegas!

And not criticizing your appreciated effort, but I think the new Martorano's in Paris also gives/redeems points since they have the dual pricing on their menu.

I would imagine so since the same venue at Rio does. My post is a copy of a list I received from Total Rewards at Caesars Palace two weeks ago. BTW, the fine print on the list says "Valid Through March 31, 2015".

You are saying I can earn SPG points for eating at these restaurants? I've been in Vegas for business and I have ate at 5-6 of these places already.

Were you staying at a Total Rewards property? I charge all the restaurants to our room, and even though our rooms are comped, we still get the SPG points as well as the Total Rewards points.

I'm not sure if you can get SPG points if you aren't staying at a TR property? I know you can if dining at an SPG property (nothing to do with Caesars).

I only stay at SPG (with IHG and Marriott as my fall back brands, building up piles of points with them both). So I stayed at the Westin and element hotels so far in Las Vegas....

I just whip out my card and pay for the meal out of pocket usually.

YES, but only if all of the following are met:
  • Your SPG card and Caesars Total Rewards card are synched.
  • You are staying at a participating Caesars Entertainment property.
  • You charge the restaurant charge to your room folio.
  • Your restaurant charges are not comped.

If all the above are met, you will earn one SPG StarPoint for each dollar in addition to your Caesars Total Rewards points. Of course, by staying in a Caesars Entertainment participating property, you will also earn a night credit for each night of your stay up to ten night credits annually.

Worth noting that the night does not count towards lifetime nights. In my experience, it has also not counted for annual stay credit.

Your first statement is correct. Your second statement is contradictory to the program's T&Cs and also contradictory to my experience.

How long does it take for Caesar's/TR nights to post?

I did a 3 night stay at CET Paris 19-22 DEC which will be needed to hit my 50 night platinum requal this year. Any idea how long it will take to post?

I've never had my requal depend on a late-posting thing like this before, but I assume the through-March grace period should be sufficient.

Check toward the end of the announcement thread ... short answer is that points and nights credit may take up to 4-6 weeks to post.

From the FAQs found on the SPG-Caesars website,

How soon are Starpoints that I earn for an eligible stay at a Caesars Participating Hotel deposited into my SPG program account?
If you are registered for SPG-Total Rewards Member Benefits, Starpoints will post to your SPG account within 4 to 6 weeks after an eligible stay at a Caesars Participating Hotel is completed.

How soon are Reward Credits that I earn for an Eligible Stay at an SPG Participating Hotel deposited into my Total Rewards program account?
If you are registered for SPG-Total Rewards Member Benefits and are a Seven Star Member or have Diamond or Platinum status in the Total Rewards program, Reward Credits will post to your Total Rewards account within 4 to 6 weeks after an Eligible Stay at an SPG Participating Hotel is completed.

Thyetus, the FAQ only addresses Starpoints rather than eligible nights credit. Based on the other thread, it is the same timeline, but I just wanted to clarify that point.

Wait. The second statement said annual "stay" credit, not "night" credit.. It should be correct as stated.

So, it should be pretty quick now.
I guess it depends on the property. I stayed 5 nights at 3 different locations during Christmas break:

Dec 21-23 @ Planet Hollywood, LV
Dec 23-24 @ Rio, LV
Dec 28-30 @ Harrah's, Reno

So far, only 2 nts stay at Reno has been posted on my account. (on 1/1)

Does anybody have any real world examples of how long it takes the points to post? I know the T&Cs say 4-6 weeks, but that almost seems like a boiler plate answer of sorts, so I thought I'd see if anybody can share their personal experiences. Thanks.
