It sure was! I was on the delayed SK946 and trying to find a seat in the lounge, let alone one with a electrical outlet was impossible. They lost my bag at ARN too, so not my best SAS experience. At least the flight was empty

I was thinking of booking on SAS for transatlantic this June so I could experience the new cabins. I'd be absolutely furious if I got switched to a normal business class plane. I don't fly until June but these accounts make me nervous. Should I be looking elsewhere?

I'm considering IAD-CPH, CPH-SFO and LAX-ARN.

LAX-ARN will give you the best odds of being guaranteed the new cabin. Alternatively anything being permanently served by an A330 as they are all upgraded.

Just noticed that you are flying in June. By then only LN-RKP is in operation without the new SK cabin, but that is the old LAN config, so business class is still full flat.

The likelyhood of getting LN-RKP I would probaly the least on LAX, followed by SFO and IAD. But no more slanted by then....

SK944 ORD-CPH cancelled for today 26 mar

Just looked, and my flight SK944 ORD-CPH is cancelled for today. Anyone know why? The seat map changed two days ago from a A330 to LN-RKP, and then back to an A330 again yesterday.

LN-RKP is tech in IAD since Thursday. This is probably going to be a terrible weekend for SAS long haul

SK907 was cancelled yesterday, SK925 cancelled today and your SK944 cancelled tomorrow.

SK-943 is also cancelled for today, and it looks like LN-RKP is scheduled for SK-943/SK-944 tomorrow.

Why does it seem like SAS more frequently has technical problems on more of my long-haul TATL flights than any other carrier? It's not like SAS is even my most frequently used carrier for TATL travel.

Yes, the small fleet. But do all other carriers with small long-haul fleets face the same kind of troubles? It seems like SAS does it to itself.

SAS seems to really be competing with Norwegian.

Finnair at times seem to have similar problems.

While SK may have in periods equal amount of tech issues as as DY, at least they don't leave passengers waiting for 72 hours for a flight that they keep delaying gradually.

Cancellations happen, usually SK rebooks ahead of the flight. I've had cancellations where I got to my destination earlier than originally planned on the reroute. One of the few things SK does actually handle well.

With DY you should prepare for getting stranded somewhere for a few days without any support. Hardly a good comparison.
