iI don’t know whose plane it was on July 20, but very comfortable.
July 20th was operated by LN-RKT. A 7 year old SAS A330-300.

This could obviously change, but hopefully they've resolved this situation.
9H-HFA is still at ORD, and it is scheduled to operate tonight's ORD-CPH flight (with a 25-minute delay).

I'm looking at recent flights of SK943(hifly) and there is plenty of flights when the flight duration is 9 hours. When I look at other past cph-ord flights or even fra-ord the flight duration sometimes is only 8hrs15min although usually closer to 8hrs30min, either way how come there is such a big discrepancy in flight time when the distance is the same or even more ?

Winds and specific routing of day. Aircraft type can weigh in as well, as economical cruising speed and climb performance when loaded matters as well.

Depends on the situation that day and which routing was available... the NAT are published each day and may be moved around for weather and congestion issues. 9H-HFA has the engines (RR Trent 772B-60) and the same A330 PIP (330-343E) as the other A330 of SAS. It could be that HiFly opted not to use the NAT as they would have received a later slot and chose to fly a route outside of the NAT, hence taking longer.

The exact waypoints flown can be found here: https://de.flightaware.com/live/flight/SAS943 If you are so inclined you could do soem research and compared which waypoints were used by others
