Please use this thread to post or to follow Economy Fares which are 'Good Deals' but where the cost per mile is more than 3-4 cents per mile, which is the usual upper limit for what is considered a true 'MR Deal'.

Thank you. I realized after I posted that your deal was from CMH. I had earlier seen a very similar deal from ORD, so I was searching using that origin. Obviously didn't find the same deal, but then realized my mistake.

UA, WAS (IAD/DCA) - HKG around $650, sample dates Nov 18 - 27 (Thanksgiving week, plus minus a few days)
Also can do WAS(BWI) - ICN, HKG - IAD/DCA for about the same amount and the same dates.
All can be routed with more stops (NRT/SFO/others in US) for more miles. Not the best deal in the world, but given how rarely anything comes up from DC area.

The new WN sale is being matched fairly aggressively in some markets by legacy carriers. I just bought a round trip SMF-SEA on AS for $115 which is the lowest I've paid in awhile...DL also had the price but it was an E fare (main cabin was $20 more).

Looking at ITA following an "error fare" on one of the blogs... The fare is JER-EWR-LGW which starts from 188 GBP on Momondo, this variant would maximise the miles a bit I think...
