Aircraft with new C seats

What's going on with D-ABVW (744)?
I'm scheduled to fly FRA-DXB in a few weeks and up until yesterday the seatmap was showing a 2 class retrofit 747. Now it shows a 747 with old first being sold as business on the UD.
The website let me reserve one of the UD seats, so maybe it will be OK.

Considering the progress of the retrofit in the last >2 years and seeing the number of planes that still need to be retrofitted (13 B747, 6 A388, 5 A333, 4 A343, 15 A346) that seems like an ambitious goal for only 8 months …

They should be able to retrofit more aircraft during the winter months. Also LH is supposed to be putting an additional €100m to speed up the process.

Does anyone here happen to have a photo of the 3-wide C/J that LH is showing on their website and that seat guru shows. I booked a C class on one of the retrofitted 744's and I couldn't believe that they didn't provide direct aisle access for every seat.

There's a decent picture on the Seatguru 744 Vers. 1. It was the 8th pic when I opened the photos pop-up.

Pix of the old C. The point was made, I think, that LH will uniquely go for 2-3-2 new C in the retrofit B744 (except UD and nose section of course).
