I think when it ends up to be targeted... they will need to provide us who didn't get the offer with some explanation. It's not that I'm enjoying my stays any less... but not having access to the free credit card nights, extra bonus points and now maybe these extra offers will not make me a happy GP member.

Hyatt Dia for 3 years now
Hyatt Chase card holder
Chase United Explorer card holder
Chase Continental (now a UA card) holder
No UA elite status (jusr general member)
Credited 6-7 stays under UA promo
Have done 25 stays (apprx 40 nights) in 2012

Unfortunate that they didn't do this on a year when I had 130+ Hyatt nights. 
Seems that they haven't sent this out to those that have a very high night number (already captive), but rather that have close to 50 or so nights.

If so, this is exactly what one would have needed:
1)- A minimum of 3 years as Diamond including having qualified for 2013
2)- A Hyatt Chase card
3)- Some stays credited under the last airline promo choosing United
4)- A United Mileage Plus Chase Card ??
You would "not" have needed any elite status with United.

I got this one too.
2 years of Diamond, having Chase Hyatt CC, have credited ~7 times to UA account, ~21 stays in 2012 and I do not have UA card.
I could not believe what I'm reading when I got this e-mail.

Just to add to stat collection, my husband and I both got the totally unexpected email.
We both are Diamonds for the second year. He has re-qualified already and I am still a few stays from requal.
We both credited to United during the summer promotion.
We both are pretty low revenue Diamonds.
He will hit about 30ish stays this year. I will hit 25.
Neither of us has the Hyatt card.
We both currently have low tier status with UA.
I still can't believe the email was real - best surprise in a long time.
