That cuts it down considerably and the bar is now lowered to:

being a current Diamond Member for the last 2 years
with a Hyatt Chase Card
and only a few stays credited to United last summer....

There must be a lot of us....

This is quite confusing....
How would Hyatt know your Mileage Plus Account number?

Sooooo sad. But congrats to those who scored!^ Hopefully I'll be on Hyatt's "nice" list next time.

Just a point of interest - I'm a 3 year Diamond (matched back then), CC holder and have already maintained status for next year with about 30 stays/40 nights.

Current Diamond through 2014, was also in the past but not this last year (requaled this year).
UA gold for 3 years.
Hyatt AND UA CC holder.
Credited to UA during promo like 3 years ago (1 stay 2500 UA miles for elites one).
So far 50k flown on UA and 6 paid stays and 27 nights this year.

No email.

I did not have any Hyatt stays credit to UA. And I did receive the gift email. But I think one qualifier is having the Chase Hyatt Visa and/or one of the Chase UA Mileage Plus Visa cards... maybe?

Oh well...

Ah well, congrats to those who got it. It probably is the CC after all - the Hyatt goes out of its way to make non-holders feel like the last kid picked in gym class, even if they've been loyal to the brand for years.
