Think I solved my problem. Signing up through the euroasia offers link above in first post works. When I tried differently from extremehoteldeals.com had some trouble.

Great promo, hoping can find use for this, only 3 Melia locations in the US, 2 I did not even know about!

Any tips? Thanks!
Same problem here. I wanted to book a TRYP Hotel in South America and it seems that I can't, the Melia website redirects to the Tryp website.
Any help would be much appreciated

Can't get past "Sorry. We already have a registered user with the same details. Please try a new e-mail address. If you have any problem, please contact us. "

I've cleared out cookies, tried two browsers, and two e-mail addresses.

Are you putting in your actual passport number? I think they only allow one unique ID number per acct. I would try varying that.

I just signed up and got 12,000 points expiring on 14/04/2015.
As for the redemption, 12,000 points are good for a hotel rate of around 56 USD.

Thus, I am afraid that to redeem 12K points free night I have to go to Egypt
Or try a campground in Croatia.
Even hotels in Bulgaria are over 70 dollars.

Rumeli, this is not correct. Please see the list of available hotels confirmed for free on at least one date. Some are otherwise going for $100/night...

Thank you for correcting me. I just saw a hotel in Porto that is 35 euros but still 11,900 points.

Interesting. But how did you and BCN manage to use cash and >2k points at check-out? It doesn't seem to give me that option.

update: oh, I figured it out. There's a sliding bar. Cool!
