Current and historical promotions
This is a thread for reporting details of promotions in the Finnair+ program.
The purpose of the wiki is to keep a repository of current and historical promotions. This works best if all details are given in a post of the thread. Once such a post is made, edit the wiki and add a short description of promo in headline-style, with a link to the post that holds the detailed information. (You can create such a link by right-clicking the post-number and copy link location).
Do not link to the promo itself from the Wiki, as the promo page is likely to disappear once the promo ended and such link will die, leaving the wiki sans historical info.
Feel free to discuss alterations to the format in the thread below.

Also got the promo 2 hours ago, did AY make a difference between status ans award points?
The promos I got before (AY promos) always count toward my status as well - anyone knows how it works here?

The last accor promo was award points only, i.e. no help towards status. And this also states that you receive triple award points.

Funny story. That was before I joined FT. Back then I didn't fully understand how things works. I had a J ticket to TPE during the promotion period. But due to some fall out with my host I found myself without any living quarters on short notice. I cancelled the ticket 25 hours before takeoff and paid 25% penalty (and of course recieved no points).
Looking back I clearly should have made up with her and gone to TPE, just for the sake of double points!

However, I was still lucky enough and got 2x award points which must have been from an older promotion? I don't recall which one though, was flying ex SIN.

Does the online upgrade work for others? I have always had an error show on me when trying to upgrade longhauls...and of course the offers are always only for SH.

Used the iOS app and it worked smoothly. Tickets were updated in less than 5min. ^

Is there a way to cancel an upgrade already paid for (with points), and then re-request it again and paying the lower amount of points? I don't seem to find a way to do it – not that there are a huge amount of points in question but still...
