In my experience NZ and Australian lamb has much more flavour whereas American lamb is a lot milder in flavour (I actually find it so mild it's not worth the bother). If you can get spring or sucker lamb it's also going to be milder in flavour.
This could probably go in it's own thread.

Otherwise scallops I find difficult to tear myself away from as an entree, steak as a main, and eggs benedict as a breakfast.
I love NZ mussels in white wine with various other bits and yummy toasted ciabatta bread. I don't like them in tomato flavoured sauces though.

For me these days it's all about steak frites. Especially at a French bistro.

For me,
Chinese dumplings (all sorts, Xiao long bao, pot stickers, those large Beijing "pies")
Braised short rib, whether an entrée by itself, or short rib meat in tacos or whatever.
Mexican, I like al pastor, if available. If not, lengua comes in second, then carnitas.
Indian, I'll order the palak paneer. I love spinach.
Duck breast, or Chinese roast duck.
Dishes with reindeer or elk.

I am right behind you although I'm often disappointed. Still, a good scotch egg makes up for the 3 mediocre ones I'll eat before I find the right place. My favorite scotch egg came with a choice of cold mustard or warm lamb gravy. I'll take the gravy every time.

Ayam Buah Keluak for sure!
It's a Peranakan dish, cooked with black nut (Buah Keluak) and Chicken. Takes forever to make it right, but it's absolutely divine.
