50,000 after $3,000 spend:
https://www.capitalone.com/credit-cards/travel-and-miles/

Capital One usually does a hard pull with all three credit bureaus.
If you have a security freeze on your report, they generally will not allow you to submit a code for this report to be viewable.

If you've held this card before, it looks like you can get this bonus again. Data points: 1, 2. YMMV

Note on redemption: You can reimburse yourself for the same charge an unlimited number of times.

Note on point transfer: The ability to transfer points between CapOne accounts ended effective September 15, 2015

There is a Wiki already. Anyone with enough posts and time as a member can edit it (90 days 90 posts off the top of my head IIRC).

It is up to members to add datapoints to keep information up to date.

Yes this thread says it has a Wiki, but I don't see it at the top of the page.

I'm looking for one like on the top of this thread,
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/credi...edits-226.html

Successful
Don't forget travel purchase needs to be > $25 charge for 2,500 mile redemption

Successful
9/11 Museum and Memorial - NYC
Accuracy Limo (via Square, Salt Lake City, UT limo service)
ACE Adventures (West Virginia White Water Rafting), had to call in to get it processed manually
agoda.com
AirAsia Flights (airasia.com)
etc, etc.

Unsuccessful (please mention the amount redeemed - important as anything under $25 cannot be reimbursed)
Partial redemptions are possible - however you cannot redeem against that charge again. So if you have a $500 charge and you spend 40K points against it, you cannot redeem 10K points for the remaining $100 of that charge.
www.b-europe.com (SNCB rail)
Amtrak (possibly due <$25 charge)
etc., etc.

If one already exists somewhere I apologize.

It's much shorter as it has much less info.

Loot at top of page:

IIRC those on mobile devices can't see it, but you should be able to see it if you can see the other one.

And I see that it is indeed 90 & 90.

I'm on a Mac, the "Wiki" you call it last edited by Mia, opens up another page, Unlike any other real Wikis here in Flyertalk.

Real Wikis seem to be partially hidden and upon opening expose the rest of it, and leads to the rest of the page.

I'll have tech look to see why it opens in new page.

Wikis that are short, like this one, do not hide part of the text because ALL of it is visible in space provided. I suspect if it were longer autohide would kick in.

Join the Club. Only Card I've ever been denied for. Not sure why they don't like me.

That's super weird, a family member got approved with low 700 and a collection on report. Approved for 15k, not a churner though.

I also am using a Mac. Are you still having a problem with the wiki opening onto a separate page?

Opening fine with Win7

Looks like someone added some info, and now actually opens like most Wikis on FT. Well, not opens, expands.

I have thought about the Venture for over 5 years now ever since I got into the credit card points and miles game but never apped for it as there were always other airline cards that I went after.

Well, after 5 years of thinking I took the plunge and got approved for the Venture, and now consider myself "retired" from credit card points and miles. Will just use this card for the forseeable future and redeem my points for any travel expense.

I have had cards from American, United, Southwest, US Airways, CSP but now am calling it quits on airline miles. The only airline miles I will earn will be BIS. With the combination of revenue based earn, banks tightening up on churning to limit you to one every so often or even one per lifetime, plus with airlines gutting partner earning and awards, requiring a kings ransom for awards in the front cabin especially with partners it pushes people like me to be a total free agent. Will book only by price/schedule now and earn BIS only.

Seems like I could get good use out of this card if I make it my everyday spending card. Use it to offset a hotel room or car rental here and there.
