Air China biz lounge has what they call a meal. It's not bad--a lot of potstickers/dumplings, and a few hot dishes and rice. Sort of internationalized asian, sometimes a curry dish. They also have packaged sandwiches, fruit, chips, and some sweets.
If you like the food you could definitely make a meal of it. It's better than coach food on most airlines, but probably not as good as business class.

Sorry to nitpick, but AC is the airline code for Air Canada, which does not have any lounges in China.
Having gotten that out of the way, I would like to restate my position that KRR serves better food than ANY lounge in T3 (even after you take the Chinese v. Western idea into consideration).

?
Are you Domestic, or an INT. flight ?. the T3- CA, (Air China) lounges are different, & the food is better in the Int. first class lounge. Breakfast starts at 6:30, & the buffet lunch at 11:30 in both.

Pics of both lounges
Just got back from Beijing International T2 (not T3, see edit note below)... Was disappointed not to find pics available on Priority Pass iphone app, so decided to help the FT community with some recon. I was eventually stopped by BGS staff from taking pics, but I had already taken a fair lot already. Please find them below.
Air China Business -- easier to get a wireless account (just scan a passport at the self-service machine), good choice of meal-like food (rice porridge is good if you can appreciate it), but no lounge bathrooms. A bit of a homier feel to the lounge, with a wheel-oriented fountain.

BGS lounge -- must stop by front desk to get a wireless account, mostly Hors d'oeuvre food. There are lounge bathrooms. A business-oriented lounge, with dark wood trim all-around.

While I haven't availed of the lounge bathrooms (domestic or international) during the past 2 months, I'd be shocked if they'd simply shuttered them up. What would they put in their place?

OK, looked at the pics and that's definitely T2 not T3 lounges. I vaguely recall the CA T2 lounge didn't have in-lounge bathrooms. I usually preferred BGS lounge in that Terminal...and not only because of the lounge bathroom--it was usually less crowded. :-)
