- Where did you stay?
Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel, Philadelphia

- Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes. The rooms are large in comparison to other rooms I have stayed. Felt like there was a lot of empty space in between the bed and the TV. The location was great as it is in/near center Philadelphia.

- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Standard. Did not receive upgrade, they said it was booked and I did not have time to check whether true or not.

- Did you receive elite benefits?
Yes, Fruit platter and water. Did not touch the fruit/cheese platter as the break was hard as brick. Was not sure if the cheese had been there for days.

- How are the rooms?
Large and comfortable. Clean. The toilet was not the best though, had the 'engineer' come fix it and even then the flusher was falling off.

- What was good and what was bad?
As mentioned before the large spacious rooms and proximity. The lobby was nice too.

- Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Booked using points for two nights (BOGO). The hotel was originally completely booked a few weeks out and I kept checking and within a week of my trip availability opened so that worked out. The price for when it was completely booked was ~500 and fell to ~400's the night before.

Radisson Hotel & Suites Chelmsford-Lowell

What is your Club Carlson Status?
Gold Elite

Where did you stay?
Radisson Hotel & Suites Chelmsford-Lowell (MA)

Were you happy with the hotel/stay?
Not really.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked regular king size room, upgraded to a very large room, effectively a junior suite.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Received upgrade but no welcome gift. Will comment on this if I receive a survey.

How are the rooms?
Comfortable, quiet room with a sleep number bed. Large with lots of furnishings, such as a sofa.

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Nice fitness center with quality equipment.

Bad:
Website claims there is a complimentary shuttle but says nothing about hours of operation. It only runs for 2 hours in the early morning and 2 hours in the early evening. I was never told this when checking in, and had to pay for my own cab when I missed the a.m. cutoff by 10 minutes.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
The hotel is inexpensive but I would not stay here again if I returned to the area.

Radisson Hotel Detroit-Bloomfield Hills (MI)

What is your Club Carlson Status?
Gold Elite

Where did you stay?
Radisson Hotel Detroit-Bloomfield Hills

Were you happy with the hotel/stay?
No.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked regular room with two double beds, did not receive an upgrade. I was also booked into an adjoining room with someone in the next room, meaning I could hear talking/alarms/TV through the thin door. The hotel was hardly booked, and I was disappointed that of all rooms, they put me here.

Did you receive elite benefits?
No.

How are the rooms?
I had a poolside room, which was very aggravating as there was a loud group of guys in the hot tub. Supposedly the pool closes at 10:00 pm but the guys just got louder. By 10:30 pm, I called the front desk and they were kicked out. Perhaps being poolside, the room had a chlorine type smell. Lamp had a burned out bulb. I really can't sleep well on Radisson bedding, the sleep number beds and squishy pillows are horrible.

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Nothing.

Bad:
The hotel is kind of a dump, with dated and worn furnishings, rusty shower head, etc. Management/front desk seemed to show very little foresight in placing me in an adjoining room and letting the pool situation go on as long as it did. They never acknowledged (and maybe did not even know) I was a Gold member. This is one of those properties that makes US Radissons look bad.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Absolutely not.

Where did you stay?
Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Dundee, MI

Were you happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked 2 Queen bed room as was upgraded to a full suite with separate bedroom and large living room.

Did you receive elite benefits?
Yes, there was a welcome letter and a box of chocolates in the room waiting for me. I was recognized as a Gold Elite when I checked in.

How are the rooms?
Very nice, with new furnishings. The bed was very comfortable and there was an extra bag with a light cotton blanket and different pillows to increase comfort. Even though it was on the side facing the highway, I slept very soundly with the fan turned on. Nice large TV and lots of outlets (a strip of 4 built into the desk) which is always appreciated.

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Nice rooms. The entire hotel is a relatively recent new build. Nice breakfast area with lots of options available at 6:00 am.

Bad:
Nothing.

Value for money or Gold Points? Would you return?
Excellent value. BIZTIME3 rate was the same as regular rate. This is my second time staying here and I would definitely return.

Yes, very.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
booked Queen bed room as was upgraded to a full suite with separate bedroom, large living room, large master bathroom with walk-in sauna.

Did you receive elite benefits?
The suite upgrade was sufficient recognition for me (w/ chocolates on pillow). Breakfast is already included in Norway

How are the rooms?
Very nice. Typical comfortable Scandinavian bed with duvet ad extra pillows. Lots of windows overlooking the neighboring lake. Two large TVs, free movies and lots of outlets (a strip of 4 built into the desk) which is always appreciated.

What was good and what was bad?

Good:
Good breakfast, nice bar, discounted access to full service gym in block behind hotel (Elixia).

Bad:
New fitness center in hotel is still very limited, but better than what they previously had. I use external gym anyhow.

Corporate rate is negotiated, very typical for Norwegian hotel. I will definitely return.
