It'll cost us £20 as we're flying down from NCL night before and staying at the Thistle. Yes I know the bus is free but have wanted to try the pods for ages!

I forgot how good sunshine is - it's 25 degrees with clear skies here in Gran Canaria and on the agenda today is lazing around by the pool and attempting to get a tan whilst sweating out this hangover. Not looking forwards to being back in cold and rainy Scotland on Wednesday after a week of warm weather, sunshine and the Yumbo Centre!

Happy Friday to everyone!

Well that was a week I don't ever want to repeat...TFIFF. On the plus side, the sun is shining here in BrisVegas and it's not too toasty today. The pool is warm, the forecast for the weekend is good, and the wine is cold...so let's look on the bright side. Happy Friday!

Forth Road Bridge closed !

I don't have any flights from EDI this weekend but I would have difficulty getting to the airport as the FRB has been closed to inspect some damage and could be closed for a few days. Traffic across into Fife and north towards will be very badly affected. It maybe better to consider using GLA or ABZ if you have a choice.

Relaxing in Rwanda after a busy week of hopping around Africa, 9 flight in six days. Not quite as warm as it was on the beach yesterday in the Seychelles, but better than being at home. May go to the. Genocide museum later to cheer myself up, as my QR flights that tip me back into the CCR are still to post.

The sun is shining, our visiting hairdresser will be here imminently, and more importantly ...

... BIL is today being moved from his London hospital back to Jersey [ambulance, escort, slow ferry] after his brain surgery.

Save money, be patient, it will fall out eventually.
