It was definitely reassuring that there were options, and a lot of availability on the last QF departure from BNE to SYD if I wanted to head home and can the trip. Even my cousin said he would feel less guilty if I didn't fly over to only spend less than 12 hrs in town before heading off again. Called Mrs Enthused, and I talked it out with her, naturally she was supportive of my choices, and knew how much the trip meant to me, but also how mad I would be to get to HNL and miss the connection.
