I returned to BNE to find that the ETD was now pushed back a further 2 hours, which meant it was 2040hrs, and in reality it would mean a 90-120 min connection in HNL to clear immigration and go through TSA and then connect to my AS flight direct to SFO. I went to the QF Sales Desk again and the agent there was extremely helpful and advised that if I did have second thoughts, I could still return landside and she would input notes to assist with a refund. She called the lounge staff as well!
