By the time I reached the front of the line it was almost 5am. I decided I didn't need accommodation, and I am HLO, so I hung out upstairs to see if the QF ticket desk could rebook me on to another flight, direct to LAX or SFO or anywhere in North America. No availability, so I headed into Brisbane to hang out with a mate of mine until afternoon as the ETD was 1800hrs because of crew rest hours and time to replace the backup system that had failed. Note the outdated OneWorld alliance board!
