Went up to the Departures level to the QF sales desk to explore options. While I was waiting to be served, I noticed the out-of-date OneWorld alliance member board! The lady at the desk did seem to make as many attempts to put me on a different flight, but advised I call AA regarding my itinerary. After 24 min on hold, I spoke with an agent at AA, and they, somewhat predictably, pushed me back to the QF sales desk. Sadly, no options could be explored, so into town I went to hang out with mates.
