Should be, and security probably won't be bad at that hour either. Check in cutoffs are 45 min domestically (60 internationally) with luggage at PHL. Otherwise, the cutoff is 30 min domestically but you must at the gate at least 15 min prior to scheduled departure.

I'll be traveling through Philly internationally in a couple of weeks. I'll have a lot of time to kill so I figured I'd watch some college football. Can anyone tell me if the international US Club has TVs and if so would they have games on?

In the A club, I believe the bar area has some TVs, and there's one that's usually tuned to a news station outside of there. The B-C club bar nearly always has sports on there when it's available and I'm sure you can work with the bartenders there to get it on one. Failing that, there are some restaurants in the B and C terminals that will have sports on, especially the Jet Rock Bar & Restaurant near B6.

The A-West club, which is roughly between gates A15 and A16, serves both as a regular club and the international departure lounge for Star Golds/business class passengers. That's the A Club I referred to; there are two others in PHL: the B/C club and one in F (currently closed for renovations coinciding with significant overall construction in that terminal).

I have often seen the TVs in the A-West US Airways Club tuned to sports games, particularly football at the weekends. I have watched many a Sunday Night Football game from the side with the full bar prior to getting US 728 to LHR.
There are many places to watch the game outside of the clubs as well. In addition to Jet Rock Bar and Restaurant on Concourse B, I'd recommend Chickie's and Pete's, which has locations on Concourse C (across from Gate C31) and Concourse A-West (next to Gate A18). I have only visited the Concourse C location (which has at least 10 TVs and are visibile from any seat in the place) and would imagine the Concourse A-West location is similar.

I'm thinking it should be, but is 55 minute connection time enough to get from a Republic E175 flight (wherever they gate it) to a Caribbean connection?

Assuming flights are on time, this should be no problem. Republic flights come into B/C and sometimes A. Carribean flights will leave from these gates as well.

Cool. That's what I gathered from reading through the thread, but I never connect in PHL, ever. Just CLT, DCA, and PHX.

Just a couple random notes about the A (former Envoy) club from this weekend
- on Friday and Monday afternoon they had half the lounge closed off - I've had never seen the gates there before but basically prevent folks from turning left after check-in
- it appears the soup has been updated again to Veggie Bisque
- the soup/olives/cheese is basically out from 3-6 only - I still have no idea why they don't serve it through the 9PM TLV/LHR/DUB flights...

They rotate occasionally. There was something different in CLT earlier this week, though I don't recall what. They're usually pretty good.
Agree ...
