I'm at 24 hits posted, 33 earned. I have a few more hotel stays (possibly 3). After that I guess it's waiting for the next month to see if there are any foul balls, and if so doing another rental or two to cover the gap. This has been a ton of fun!

I'm at 22 hits, now at 16 posted! But no travel scheduled for the rest of the GS, so it's going to be tough getting hotels and car rentals 
-- in fact, I have a trip that starts literally 2 days after the GS starts. My goal is 10 more hits, really wish I had jumped on the Twitter hit when it was available.

The funding doesn't matter. I believe it's been shown that Sharebuilder activities are the Monday before the Tuesday it posts, no matter when you open.
