I wonder if you'll get anything in coach...doubt it, although I'm not positive.

Can't remember the names of the past threads on the "reduced breakfast" but last month SFO-DEN was cold continental in F (cereal, banana, yogurt, plus a choice of butter, cheese and warm pastries) and beverages and a cookie in coach.

The offerings must be patchy .
Last week I flew West Coast - MCO in F on a breakfast flight in an 320 and was blessed with yoghurt ,juice and a banana!
It is just beyond my imagination how an airline can claim this is a reasonable breakfast for a transcontinental flight.

Ozflier, I read that the airlines offer what they need to and the MCO route is apparently a leisure route with little competition in the meals department.
Last week, DEN-IAD bkfst in F was the cold cereal, some kind of egg thing on a muffin, a few pastries, coffee, juice, milk, banana, yoghurt. I could barely eat anything because it is not on my diet, but I guess it could be worse.
There was nothing in coach, although that could mean some token cookie or something, I suppose.

There's a blurb in this month's Hemispheres Magazine about the new breakfast service and it explains pretty well the thresholds time and route wise as to what you can expect.
Don't have a copy with me. Sorry.

That said, however... this morning's 9:10am SAN-ORD served a hot breakfast in coach--yogurt, banana, granola crunch mix, and breakfast pizza-- something that I haven't seen since the post-9/11 cuts. That struck me as the beginning of resumed "full" breakfast service. Don't know what was served in F, though, and if it was indeed a hot breakfast eggs dish described in Hemispheres or my beloved fruit plate, finally returning to the skies...

Richard, I accept that MCO is primarily a leisure destination (I was going to a serious convention and admittedly, a day at the "World") but UA did not seem to be offering any discount on my F class fare to cover reduced "leisure route" meal service.
? Any mention in the new Hemispheres of a new domestic wine service involving US wines.

The Hemispheres Magazine website usually only offers some of the major articles. Not all the small stuff.
Here's the blurb from the magazine:

I miss those transcon "samplers" with different kinds of meats and eggs great for us low carb/paleo types. It is all going to more starches I suppose as that is what people like and it is much less expensive I would imagine.
