"We are delighted to announce expanded service in two of Europe's most important markets," said Stuart I. Oran, senior vice president - international. United will operate the new London flights eastbound initially in Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 206 seats and westbound in the larger Boeing 777 with 292 seats. As of Feb. 11, 1999 all three United round-trip flights between O'Hare and London will be flown in

I wonder - whose Heathrow spot has United inherited?
Refusing to give up slots at Heathrow has been one of the major problems in getting the BA/AA alliance approved.

Perhaps United has shifted service away from another departure city?
