Hehe... well, I'd say that you're injecting a bit of personal opinion into this one. If they call it E+, that's what it is. They, of course, control what's called what when it comes to these sorts of things.

You may consider it less-than-preferable E+, but it's still E+

Edit: I think we're getting a bit off-topic about semantics and personal preferences/opinions... so I'm going to stop responding to keep us from going further afield

So if they called the airplane a large wild turkey, you'd believe them? They also claim that the RCC is worth $50 for a one-time visit.

Do they offer E+ seating on TED planes.

Thx for info.
Being also based in PHX, I prefer TED over US every day and twice on Sunday. While I don't like TED, I hate US.

TED really isn't that bad when compared to the non-UA alternatives out of PHX.

That's true, but put it in proper perspective. If you usually buy F or upgrade to it, Ted's a let-down because it lacks first class seats. But if you'd be flying coach anyway and have status, E+ on Ted is a better seat than coach on nearly any other domestic carrier. And since it's part of UA which is part of *A, you can credit your miles from Ted to your US DM account. Or you can start accumulating on UA and credit US flights to it while you're transitioning plans.

TED E+ is as good as any United aircraft, in fact TED is just fine if you can live without a premium cabin. Oh yeah one more thing......
