You may consider it less-than-preferable E+, but it's still E+

Edit: I think we're getting a bit off-topic about semantics and personal preferences/opinions... so I'm going to stop responding to keep us from going further afield

I am new to the United Forum and can't seem to find info on this. I am currently an almost 100% US Air flyer looking for some alternatives. I have heard that TED is going to be disbanded sometime next year, but from PHX, most of United service is TED.
Do they offer E+ seating on TED planes.
Thx for info.

TED really isn't that bad when compared to the non-UA alternatives out of PHX.

That's true, but put it in proper perspective. If you usually buy F or upgrade to it, Ted's a let-down because it lacks first class seats. But if you'd be flying coach anyway and have status, E+ on Ted is a better seat than coach on nearly any other domestic carrier. And since it's part of UA which is part of *A, you can credit your miles from Ted to your US DM account. Or you can start accumulating on UA and credit US flights to it while you're transitioning plans.
