E+ on TED?
I am new to the United Forum and can't seem to find info on this. I am currently an almost 100% US Air flyer looking for some alternatives. I have heard that TED is going to be disbanded sometime next year, but from PHX, most of United service is TED.
Do they offer E+ seating on TED planes.
Thx for info.

Yes, they do, but we still don't like flying TED!

One of the nice things about Ted is how much E+ seating they offer, proportionally more than any other plane. They have a full 11 rows of E+ (which adds up to 66 seats), so it's almost always easy to get an E+ seat on those flights as an elite or someone willing to pay.

Thanks everyone...
I have heard that TED isn't the favorite choice of very many people.

On FT, this seems to stem primarily from TED's refusal to serve a full can of soda.
(OK, so absence of first class, etc. might be in the mix as well
).
In contrast, on a mainline SNA-DEN flight today one of my seatmates asked for sparkling water, and then as the FA attempted to hand her the can she said "Oh, I don't want the can."

Fortunately, I was not drinking my own beverage at the time, and thus the otherwise inevitable spit-take was avoided.

The fleet reduction also includes six Boeing 747s. As part of these changes, United is eliminating its Ted product, reconfiguring that fleet’s 56 A320s to include United First class seats. The reconfiguration of the Ted aircraft will begin in spring 2009 and be completed by year-end 2009.

According to SeatGuru, it has no E-.

United's website says the same thing - only Economy Plus.
