Westin Heavenly Bed on intl F flights? [merged threads]
Saw this in today's (2/19) Wall Street Journal:
Westin Takes Flight
This year, Westin Hotels & Resorts will start putting products from its Heavenly Bed line on United Airlines flights. Customers flying United business- and first-class routes between New York and California will receive oversize Heavenly Bed blankets and pillows "inspired by the iconic all-white, 10-layer" Heavenly Bed found in Westin hotels, according to a statement from the hotel company.
Article is here, about mid page, but may require subscription.
My question is why just between NY & CA? What about international? Or is this part of the upgraded soft product that is coming, some day?

Yep, I'm betting we'll see this on the new configs if it works out well. I heard from the beginning that it would be sponsored by some company in order to keep the costs down, and you can't beat Westin in that regard, IMO!^

I think if you're SPG Platinum and UA 1k you should then be upgraded on Westin furnished flights.

Isn't between NY and CA = P.S.? I don't see UA setting it up on non-P.S. flights.

This is great, I have had a lot of trouble sleeping on the current pillows in C. It would be great to see this on all widebodies.

I like this. Will they provide us all with robes to stroll around in?
