We'll be on 937 on 12/25 and hoping our upgrades will clear. That would be a nice Christmas present.

I suspect that paid premium passengers don't generally take redeyes.

N647UA is currently operating UA952 IAD-FRA (2 Dec) so it will return as UA953 FRA-IAD tomorrow (3 Dec).

Why can't they put this baby on the red-eye on that date? (Yes, I have a vested interest.) That's where we could use the new seats! They have two planes doing the red-eye now: a 320 and a 757. Consolidate and use the 767! @:-)
that's a waste to put a 3-cabin aircraft on a redeye. definitely not what they were intended for.

Not that I'm advocating putting the new plane on a redeye, but in my experiences there are quite a few time strapped business travelers flying redeyes.

Any confirmed schedule for December? Going to fly IAD-FRA on UA952 mid-December, and it will be great to know if it will be operated on the day I am flying.. If not, I can always change to a day before or after..

A FA told me that there was only one of these planes,
can anyone confirm or deny what he said?
He also said it was the test model

Any news for sure if this plane is flying IAD/FRA round trips only? I am flying IAD/BRU on Dec 9 and BRU/IAD December 15. If the schedule holds, I'll miss it on the way over, but could get it on the way back. Before I give up my confirmed seats on the (oversold) direct BRU/IAD I'd like to know for sure (as sure as I can be) that I'll find this plane in FRA on Saturday.

Are there any SFO or ZRH flights scheduled for this bird?

Edit: Yuck, 953 is F1 C0 Y0 on 9/15, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway... but the question still holds for my future trips...

Any updates? I'm flying to FRA tomorrow and would be happy to add a stop in IAD if the new equipment is making up IAD-FRA on the 5th.
