Jeez... what happened to all the technical planning behind getting pics out from onboard? I guess now he's a superstar he's busy with all the schmoozing!

Are you serious? Or maybe, you've never flown on a truly flat seat. Those LH angled seats are awful.......you wake up chewing gum, and realize that you slid so far, you've got the elastic waistband of your underwear way up high!

Wow, it's really happening!

Oh and I rather think December is a bit ambitious for the 744, but I'd love for UA to prove me wrong - bring it on! ^

you're tracking the wrong flight - it's this one here. And as of now they'll get about an extra 30min in flight to enjoy the new seats!

Have you ever flown in a 180 lie-flat bed? It's FAR SUPERIOR to UA's current C seat and MUCH BETTER than the angled-flat bed LH or AA offers. Just think, how much would you like your bed at home if it were at a 7 degree incline?

In addition to the comforts of the product itself, I am excited bc UA's commitment to 180 lie-flat bed gives me hope it may be trying to compete int'lly instead of staying mid-pack among domestic carriers as it has been lately. UA's current premium offerings aren't even close to int'l standards (chair in F on the 767 is a joke!)I want to have pride in the airline I am loyal to, and this is a start.

The first 747 goes in during December
It won't be out till mid February due to additional work

The 777 goes in early February and us due out sometime in late March.

As we've seen with the 767, subject to change!

Really, it'll take two months for the 747? Any clue what additional work is being done?

One of the items is a paint job, nothing with customer impact.
