FRA airport RCC and SEN Q

Ill be flying from MUC-FRA-ORD. If I remember right, the MUC flights arrive/depart from A, and the USA bound flights on UA leave C. I got a few hrs layover and wanted to go to the SEN lounge also. Is there one near/on the way to the UA gates? Do I pass through security first, or after the lounge? (not the USA security I mean)and passport control?

You have to go through passport control. The Sen is on the top floor. After passport control, you will see a bank of escalators in the middle of the building. Take it up and look for the Sen signs.

After you get your fill of food and drinks, leave sometime to visit the RCC in terminal C. You will also get the free booze, but no real food. So eat up on the spam, meatballs, soup and salads at the Sen lounge.

so just looking at the diagram. I would leave completely Terminal A, or take the underground tunnel from A to B? and the sen you mean by B6, up top?

After the passport control, would I have any more security checks necides the USA one?
From looking at the map, it looks like I still enter the main hall.

the rcc in C is almost as good as first class in ord. Obviously a bit less food, but they have better drinks all together...

Was it UA or LH plane?
Hmm, ill check that out. Going from A to SEN to RCC, what would be the best path to take?

Yes, you take the underground tunnel from A to B; like the previous post, UA does sometimes leave from A, B or C; you have to check the monitor before going over to B; if it is A, then most likely there is no lounge after you do your additional security check, so you have to use the lounge on the other side of A terminal (either Sen or FTL).

If it is B, you go through passport control and then the main hall. Then go up stairs to the Sen lounge. They have someone standing in front of the lounge, looking for your *G card and boarding pass.

Then if you plane leaves from terminal C, go to the terminal with at least 1:30 left, so you have enough time to get through another security check. The line can be long sometimes, I think there maybe a couple of other flights leaving for the US at around the same time. Either way, you can then go to the RCC and enjoy the booze...

The first time I did this, I got confused and went through passport control twice. You actually can leave and come through the same passport control to get from A to B.

Good luck and watch for the signs.

Yes, the Euro flights arrive in A.

However, there are some US flights that do depart from A (I think gates 61-65). Mostly those are LH flights, but not exclusively. If you're on UA941, which is currently a 747, that will likely depart from B. If you're on a 777, that will likely depart from C4 (can't say that out loud, huh?).

But as others mention, check the monitors.
