On a SEA-ORD flight I sat in front of Ron Reagan Jr. in F. Saw him checking the departure screens on the concourse afterwards so he must have been connecting.

Well, let's see, I am not sure I can remember them all (not that there have been that many) but here goes (all people I flew with on the same aircraft):

Joe Montana, Sean Penn, Roger Craig, Gary Plummer, Hector Eliozondo, Frankie Valli, Peter Coyote, Günter Netzer, Katie Segal, Lynn Swann

Additionally I saw Uwe Seeler in Manchester, Suzie Quatro at Heathrow, Dusty Baker in San Francisco and Gale Sayers in Atlanta.

Come to think of it, I seem to get mostly ball players; maybe I just recognize them more often.

Let's see:

Old days in National Airport Liz Taylor and John Warner giving an interview in a room off the concourse. The violet eyes were mesmerizing as was the lavender flowered dress, purse, hat (cloche) and shoes. Reminded me of my Mom when I was a kid using up all the fabric so it wouldn't go to waste. She was beautiful however for sure.

Some famous rock star in first class out of ATL one day. Crew went ga ga. I listen to classical so didn't know him.

Football coach Bill Currie. The best 45 min flight from Augusta, GA I ever had. He was the most inspirational individual I have ever met. We exchanged business cards even at his suggestion. I was flattered. He was gracious.

Chuck Yeager. Yes, one and the same. I failed to recognize him when he sat next to me and he got offended. Hinted around for awhile, shook hands. I was reading. Then he just came out and blurted, "You know Top Gun?" I then realized the custom made shirt with the CY on the cuffs and pocket was a dead giveaway. The worst flight from Savannah to ATL I ever had. He seems to have some problem with John Glenn who was spoken of in a very unflattering manner. Total stuffed shirt IMO.

Oh, forgot a few.
Andre the Giant - deceased wrestler.
The Hulk - several times carrying Haliburton briefcase. Several other wrestlers in the 80's out of various airports in the South.
Also many many ball players. Joe Torre, Wade Blasingame, Rico Carty. ( Guess this really dates me. HA )

I sat next to Sergiu Comissiona, who was then the conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. We spent a lot of time discussing music and musical styles,

Marisa Tomei (few months ago): LAX-JFK
Chris O'Donnell (two years ago): LAX-NRT
Kim Delaney (two years ago): PHL-LAX (in coach!)
Jason Robards (been a while): JFK-LAX

There's probably been more, but that's all that comes to mind.

Dr. Stephen Hawking in Business Class on an SFO-LHR flight several years ago.

And an Omni about Seles...My partner is head of music at a local school. One day the violin teacher hauled in a student to explain why he didn't have his music with him. Seems Monica Seles had rented his house for Wimbledon fortnight and he left his music at the house and they couldn't go back to get it!

Seems to me that Sean Penn crops up quite a lot. Must be a 1K. But is he upset about the changes in SWU rules and the 1K room closings? However will he find the "Red carpet room" these days?
