UA102 IAH-MUC 763 diverted to YHZ due to maintenance. Return UA109 MUC-IAD on 5/23 cancelled due to an unexpected operational issue.
UA509 FCO-EWR 764 cancelled due to crew time out after a 3.5 hour delay.
UA912 ORD-KEF 752 cancelled due to maintenance after a nearly 4 hour delay. Return UA913 KEF-ORD on 5/23 cancelled as a result.

Long haul are above that average, on any given day one would expect 3-4-5 cancellations (on average), sometimes higher, sometimes lower.

Cancelled on 5/23
UA1 SFO-SIN 789 cancelled due to maintenance after a 2.5 hour delay. Return UA2 SIN-SFO on 5/25 cancelled as a result.
UA82 EWR-DEL 789 cancelled due to maintenance after a nearly 3.5 hour delay. Return UA83 DEL-EWR on 5/24 cancelled as a result.
UA855 LIM-IAH 752 cancelled due to maintenance.
Plane made it back on the 21st of May. Planes that were scheduled later came back to EWR as 30xx flight numbers.

UA131 EWR > HND, May 24. Im experiencing this currently 8+ hour delay. We boarded on time, pilot came on to say we had a lightbulb out and would be 45 minutes delayed. Then he came on and said we would finish early, and they just needed to wrap up paperwork. Then he came on to say 2 hour delay due to the lightbulb, and we would deplane. Then we got notified it would be a 7 hour delay and we had a new plane and new crew. Then we boarded close to expected time and sat on the plane waiting for catering. Then catering was delayed.
Gate agent just came on to say we are about to close the door but if you want to get off the plane to stretch your legs you can.
Edit: FA came on 2 minutes later and said catering is almost done go to your seats. Gate Agent came back on 3 minutes later to say shes required by law to let us leave the plane for 2 minutes because its been an over 45 minutes delay since we sat down, but catering is still being worked on so dont leave unless you need to.

Silver lining might be that customs/passport control wont be too busy by the time you arrive. Though Haneda is usually pretty good overall. Its Narita that seems can sometimes get really clogged.
