I just received an offer - spend $7,400 on travel purchases (not just United) and earn 7,400 bonus miles or $10,000 on all purchases and earn 7,600 bonus miles.

Interesting, I did not receive an email for that offer, but was able to register the same Explorer card I received for yesterday's offer for. (my Gateway card wasn't eligible for either promo).

My spend requirement is somewhat different:I was planning to cancel my Explorer card this month as it is about to renew. Don't think any of these offers is enough to change my mind.

Seems like this is another iteration of personalized promotions similar to what they do with MilePlay. Received an email the other day to use my club card for mobile wallet purchases (which I already do via ApplePay in the UA app...), but didn't think much of it until seeing this thread.

Interestingly the page says for new card members, now that I look further so might be unrelated to the personalized spend promos. Wonder what their definition of new is, or if it sent the wrong promo because I'm definitely not "new" with the club card , but it did accept the registration and has a promo expiration date of 3/31

Mine is similar to yours, but requires higher spend (and I receive larger bonuses):

Travel purchases - Earn 1,500 BONUS MILES when you use your card and spend $1,500 on travel purchases.*

My T&C's for the all purchases says "all net purchases made on your qualifying card within the promotional period will count toward your total spend goal." I wonder if that means if I spend $1,500 on travel if it double qualifies (getting me the travel tier completed and getting me 50% of the way there on the all purchase tier). I assume it does from reading the T&Cs.

For my Explorer card, this is what I was offered:

Earn 4,000 bonus miles when spending $2,000 or more on your card in January.

Same for February.

Same for March.

Earn an additional 8,000 bonus miles if you reach the goal in all three months.

This equals 20,000 total bonus miles.

That's what I believe from reading T&C's briefly. For all purchases, it says all. It's like a little bonus if some of those all are travel related (imo)
