Interesting, I did not receive an email for that offer, but was able to register the same Explorer card I received for yesterday's offer for. (my Gateway card wasn't eligible for either promo).
My spend requirement is somewhat different:
Earn for travel
You'll earn 300 bonus miles when you spend $350 on qualifying travel purchases between January 1 and March 31, 2024.*
Earn for all purchases
You can also earn 900 bonus miles when you spend $1,000 on all purchases between January 1 and March 31, 2024.*
Get a one-time 250-mile bonus when you start a My Chase PlanŽ on an eligible purchase of $100 or more from January 1, 2024 through March 31, 2024.*
I was planning to cancel my Explorer card this month as it is about to renew. Don't think any of these offers is enough to change my mind.
Mine is similar to yours, but requires higher spend (and I receive larger bonuses):
Travel purchases - Earn 1,500 BONUS MILES when you use your card and spend $1,500 on travel purchases.*
All purchases - Earn 2,700 BONUS MILES when you use your card and spend $3,000 on all purchases.*
My T&C's for the all purchases says "
all net purchases made on your qualifying card within the promotional period will count toward your total spend goal." I wonder if that means if I spend $1,500 on travel if it double qualifies (getting me the travel tier completed and getting me 50% of the way there on the all purchase tier). I assume it does from reading the T&Cs.
