Apparently. The representative I had on the phone seemed very competent and said it had not come up in any briefings / notices that they track. He started going thru the standard helpdesk responses (try changing browsers, clearing cookies, etc) until he did some checking on his machine at the same time and saw immediately something wasn't correct. Dropped the "troubleshooting checklist" and said he would get it escalated.

Our notification system is undergoing routine maintenance this weekend. On Sunday, October 30, from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. CDT, we will not be able to send email, text, or push notifications about flight status, including delay, cancellation or rebooking updates.

Latest problem I've been encountering using the app is repeatedly getting the message "your device has no connectivity" when in fact I do. Basically impossible to book a flight on the app, had to use the website (which of course has its own issues).

UA needs to get its act together with the IT.

IT Update Nightmare continues. My Reservation in December , Checked my P+ upgrades .
SFO-EWRDEC 6 WL
SFO-EWR DEC 6 WL
SIN -SFO Dec 7 WL
EWR-YYZ DEC 8 WL

"This reservation is out of sync. Please check your reservation details for the most up-to-date information. You may also need to submit your upgrade request again".
I called 1K desk. The agent noted the This reservation is not out of sync. The Upgrades are correctly applied .

It is interesting - at least to me - some flyers are having so many issues - while other have none at all - I wonder what is triggering it......

I have a reservation that has been like this for three months, with the website saying it is out of sync and several agents saying its fine. So, perhaps not entirely a result of the recent IT upgrade.

All of my Res were perfect until IT upgrades. Each time UA notes there will be IT upgrade; I take screenshots of all my Reservation, Mileage account summaries, P+ account summaries. Upgrades WL & points deducted & on hold.
The 2 issues developed after the recent IT upgrades.
I am # 1 on several of the WL. It will b e interesting to see if Website is wrong or the agent are wrong.

I will be in EWR Polaris tomorrow morning. I will fire up my computer & have the Ticket agent look at the out of sync message I am seeing.

Just an educated guess. The trigger maybe if an itinerary is change or upgrade clears. I checked both of my upcoming reservations last night before shutting down my computer. Both reservations were showing correct PQP to be earned.
Overnight one of my upgraded clear my trip tomorrow. The Reservations is now showing: 0 miles earned this trip.
The second reservations No change or modification . shows correct PQP to be earned.
The second reservation I made modification during the First IT upgrade. It was after the 1st IT upgrade " T
he website saying it is out of sync. May require to re-apply"

I've been wondering about this too. I don't have that many flights to juggle compared to others here, but fwiw the one problem I did have was with an award reservation that was still on hold (FareLock) when UA changed the flight number. It was showing up as a "changed itinerary" but there was no way for me to either accept or cancel the new itinerary, had to get an agent involved.

Have you tried logging out and logging back in?

I've tried everything. This has been ongoing for three days now, different locations, different wifi connections. Girlfriend having same issue on her phone.

I thought I was never going to book a flight or check my reservations on the app until I logged out and logged back in - kept crashing on me. Seems to be working for me so far (cross fingers), but I really miss expert view fare buckets on United.com. Makes me worry they are going to ax that on the app.

Assume you also logged out, deleted, rebooted, reloaded app...?

Tried to do a simple date change on a changeable ticket farebase. Cannot get it to go thru. :mad:
Had to call res which got it done without any questions.

I would cancel the request and reapply. Recently I had a flight where my PP didn’t work properly because of this out of sync issue due to schedule change.
