I am on UA 7, IAH-NRT. This 777 had the T-mobile login option and it worked.

Is this the only reported long haul to have this?

Wow! The first-ever wide-body report, I believe!

Is this UA 7 (777-200), on Feb 24?

If so, It's registration #N76021.

I'm seeing numerous reports of it in private FB group I'm in including 787s and various Airbus (mostly without specification as to A319 or A320 and configuration but also a report of it being available on the 19G (or did that already have it?).

Which 787s and on which routes? I flew UA28/29 as recent as January 2023 and there was nothing. I had to buy another month of global WiFi because of that.

I would love to see more data points. I won't be flying UA, either tpac or tatl, until the spring so I wont be able to check until then.

I connected to my home VPN and did some streaming of live TV. Wasnt the smoothest and there were dead spots during the flight but it helped pass the time.
Did you see TMO login?

Sorry, what I posted is all the information I have. The private group where I'm seeing this posted is not technical and most people don't seem to understand the importance of details. And either the plane has it or it doesn't; since a specific plane is not dedicated to a specific route, route is really not useful as the next day's plane may not have it yet.

From an internal source (me), T-Mobile was rolled out on 2/21 across remaining domestic and international aircraft. Will be added to regional jets in the coming months.

So this was just a software update? No change to hardware?

Why would the hardware need to be updated?
