It is the inconsistency
2/16 SAN-SFO - offered water or sparkling wine. Another pax requested a beer was told not until we were in the air. I had water 2/16 SFO-LAS. Nothing offered. Flight had been delayed but so was SAN-SFO - same aircraft. FAs standing around and chatting so no rhyme or reason why no PDB 2/19 LAX-SAN Whatever I wanted as a PDB. I had sparkling water and others had vodka sodas. Aircraft left early. |
I've been batting nearly 1.000 on getting a bloody mary PDB on multiple EWR-LAX premium transcons since last year.

2/19 EWR IAD 757 - water and sparkling offered. Captain announced no service in flight due to turbulence. Perfectly smooth flight, zero turbulence.
My thought is a great FA would take orders on the ground stating that in the event they find smooth air they would love to be able to serve.. Just a thought. 2/19 IAD BUF ERJ175 no PDB - 4pax in F out of 12, two pulled up for weight and balance. Full service in the air.. |
Had the most annoying PDB solicitation yet.
xxx-IAH today on an ERJ175. I'm sitting in 1A so naturally the first to get offered a PDB. Front cabin FA says, "Can I get you something to drink?" I responded, "Well, sure. How about xyz?" To which the lead FA snarls and rudely replies, "No, sir. OJ or water." Well how am I supposed to know you're only offering OJ or water if you asked me what I would like to drink? How about lead with what's available otherwise the entire cart is available IMO. The FA was rude the entire flight to all passengers. -RM |
