Longest Embraer 175 routes?
Shocked to see EWR-AUS which is 1501 miles and 3 hours 53 minutes in the air! WOW. Sorry not booking this one UA.

In Y, definitely; in F, only if you're not hungry, are not planning to sleep, and are excluding the 757. For me, the former is rarely an issue; the latter sometimes is. I find it easier to sleep in a 737 or 320 window seat than an A seat on the E175.
But, yes, the name "regional jet" is unfortunate at this point, because it really belies the planes' capabilities. The E175 and E195 (which UA doesn't fly) are both very nice rides.

Give me an “A” seat in First on the E175 over any other non-lie flat seat in the fleet for F, and any seat in Y over a comparable Y seat, especially versus the garbage 737.

MSN-SFO is 1,768mi and 4h42m on an E175. All Y seats are either aisle or window. Seat width in Y is widest in the fleet. I’d take this in a heartbeat over a middle on a B739. Agree FC on the Embraer fleet is underwhelming.

I think MSN-SFO is the longest in the UA network. While I think I would prefer an E45 on the A side in Y, and 1A on a 753 in F, the E75 is definitely very high up the list of narrowbodies for comfort in both classes (one of the only domestic F seats with direct aisle access and much better than the CR7). Nothing wrong with flying on it for 4.5 hours!

Not sure why you’d prefer any other domestic aircraft to the E-Jet. 737s and A320s/19s are awful in comparison. The E-Jet offers a much better product in both J and Y than any of the rest of the UA domestic fleet. Yes the 757 is preferable but UA only flies international versions of this aircraft at this point.

As for the 175 I think its a great ride, and hardly feels like a "regional jet". Especially, since many airlines operate its bigger brother the 190 as mainline flights that cover some pretty long distances.
