I know BKK is a long shot, but here's hoping

The mayor of a district from Bucharest talked days ago about direct flights between Bucharest and NJ so EWR-OTP might be a route among others. Currently Bucharest is one of the biggest capital city in Europe without direct flights to USA but also is one of the major city in the region with lowest tourist numbers... for example in 2018 only 160k Americans visited Romania but I have no information how many of them came here via Bucharest or another cities like Cluj Napoca, Timișoara or Sibiu - cities very well linked to other *A hubs in EU and with better tourist attraction than Bucharest.

worth to mention that Air Canada Rouge will fly in 2020 again to OTP, 3rd year in a row, from YUL and YYZ (3 weekly/each) so maybe AC and UA exchanged some data and the later decided to launch flights to Bucharest as well.

Nope! Not at this time. It's a very short flight. I don't think its happening anytime soon.

Yes, if they reinstated it. I am pretty sure they will have reconsider again.

ORD-ATH has to be on that list! AA did well this year and is bringing it back.

Thinking selfishly. IAD-HKG would have been nice.

UA Twitter said NCE and CDG were 'good guesses' too, but they may just be playing with us. Do they normally announce seasonal 2020 summer routes this early? Maybe ORD-ATH (mentioned above) is another good one, if so.

I'd like to see EWR-IST too.

Definitely think there's gonna be a couple Newark to Eastern Europe seasonal routes involved. Denver I'm going to guess Paris or Amsterdam. Houston, Latin America? Have no idea for SFO, intrigued by it though.

EWR to NCE is a very interesting seasonal route. It would probably work too. Doesn't DL do an ATL-NCE seasonal?

They just replied "Well, since you asked nicely" to my plea for SFO->BKK....so either they are playing with us, or I am going to be thrilled tomorrow...

Maybe they'll finally announce EWR-ICN or ORD-ICN since OZ is giving up on the latter.

Oh wow that could be something! LOL

Meanwhile, I this response resonated for me big time:

We love Polaris too. The garlic bread is underrated.
