I was going to say, right on cue, here comes the SFO-BKK speculation...

Exactly - a return to SGN and BKK out of SFO would be sublime...but the more of those you cite the merrier.

If these are all 48 state additions that will be anticlimactic

Plus DEN-FNL, DEN-BJC, IAH-HOU, IAH-EFD, EWR-LGA, and EWR-JFK, right?

My bad - watched the video but missed the IG caption

Whatever it is, being INTL means it is awesome!

I live 7 minutes from APA. So, yeah, APA-DEN/ORD/EWR/IAH/IAD/SFO/LAX would be awesome. I don't care about those other routes.

Definitely not BKK - Zach Honig at TPG went to UA HQ and filmed them saying they were not flying to Bangkok. Maybe they straight-up lied, but I kinda doubt it.

If I had to guess the DEN route, it will be a seasonal flight to CDG.

Sort of tongue-in-cheek... seems like BKK is the favorite unserved destination of everyone except UA network planners! I think the new 787-8 configuration is a better platform (J:Y mix) to serve it, but at around 6900nm, I don't think it's realistic.

Seems like a good guess to me for DEN. I would tend to guess the additions will be all or mostly TATL. Definitely nothing to China right now, I bet.

I also doubt it will be BKK, but it will be just my luck if they announce a direct route a week after I book a trip there. They did that to me with both TLV and SIN.

Wasn't there some rumor about UA exploring EWR-SVQ (Sevilla, Spain), or did that die down. It could be a potential summer seasonal. A greater Eastern Europe push would also be nice, but might not work so well economically with well covered MUC/VIE hubs.

I think EWR will be a new seasonal destination to Europe, but I’d love to see either TPE (if they are going to start using 789s out of EWR, this is doable) or SCL as a northern winter seasonal destination.

SFO is the one where I’m less certain. They have already added it to many existing destinations (eg AMS, MUC, ZRH, DEL) that are served by other UA hubs. Maybe BNE? Finally a flight to South America? Not really sure, mainly because I don’t feel like UA-SE Asia is really a focus outside of SIN. Maybe they do SFO-DPS like I suggested
