They’re all plying ORD-LHR (all three daily flights). Are there still paid (or award) F pax still being carried on that route that need to be flushed out of the system?

Which also makes me wonder if they’ll convert ORD-LHR to 3x daily Polaris 763s asap. If so that would make it the first multi-daily route to go 100% Polaris.

Just said hola to N24729 and hadn't paid close attention to the aircraft type. I saw 12 seats in F with the new slimline and thought it was A320. But then I was posed with the puzzle of figuring out how to turn off the DirecTV screen and felt a sense of dysphoria as the airbii don't have DTV. Finally I realised it was a Boeing and not an Airbus.

I haven't been keeping up and didn't realise any 73_ were getting the slimline F. Are they all going to receive it eventually?

Looks like 641 is heading to HNL on 9/6, so that is the replacement for 647. If I had a guess, I would say 654 would replace 642 just because it appears to be scheduled to overnight in Chicago on 9/6 while 660 is scheduled to be en route to LHR that same night. Nothing is scheduled for either plane past then as far as I can tell.

Anyone know how long these last 3 mods will take? I heard they wouldn't take as long because these three already have winglets, unlike the previous 11 which got winglets in HKG during the Polaris mod.

I would guess the mod would take the same time as the ones without winglets as there are lots of things going on and unless people are pulled from the rest of the mod to do the winglets, there should be no gain except one from having more completed under their belt.

As far as where they will go, the Polaris fleet is getting near a number that could be routed and not floated. There will be 11 within a week. Tere are 21 2 class and three 3 class birds (locked into ORD-LHR) right now.
In comparison there will eventually be seven 2 class birds until retired, 14 Polaris birds and 17 High Premium Polaris aircraft. If 14 can be reouted in the future, I would expect 11 could be routed now and expect LHR service will be routed as a package. Note that floating these aircraft do not create a seating issue as both have the same seat counts..

772:
N774UA entered HKG 2782/2Sep - this puts 3 high density 772s in HKG now.

Yes. The 777–300ERs (77W) were delivered with Polaris. The issue is to retrofit PE, which involves removing four rows of E+ and replacing them with 3 rows of PE.

What's the status of the ex-HA 763s? Are there any rumors yet as to which Polaris configuration they will have (30J or 46J)? I assume they will have PE.

Reportedly 46J and PE for all remaining 763 retrofits (besides the last 3 IPTE birds).

Ah, my bad, I took it for a 772. So, what was the job at SFO, or was it one of the remaining new 77W deliveries?

The 14 2-cabin 763s (with the CO diamond seats) plus the 3 EX HA birds will be reconfigured into a 46J/22W/99Y configuration the ex 3-cabin 763s reconfigured into a 30/214 configuration with Polaris seating will remain as is.

So, no PE on 763 I take?
