WN's seat growth matches UA's seat decline:
Code:
month | ua_flt | wn_flt | ua_seats | wn_seats ------------+--------+--------+----------+---------- 2013-03-01 | 18214 | 4256 | 1703191 | 581459 2014-03-01 | 18033 | 4526 | 1680849 | 635720 2015-03-01 | 17180 | 4427 | 1675798 | 620078 2016-03-01 | 15749 | 4669 | 1613656 | 669933
Nice! Do you have data on how much premium cabin tickets are being paid for? I guess Oil would affect that the most.

I assume that WN is the only carrier conducting international ops at HOU, so you can get an idea of how much is domestic growth versus international buildout by looking at international passengers departing from the airport?

I see, but according to some analysts,
http://www.nbcnews.com/business/busi...el-oil-n533766
oil prices are now rising, suggesting a rebound may have taken hold, I think 2017 may see IAH start to recover from the slump.
But it is nice to see UA getting 77Ws, and more 73Gs to replace to 50 seaters, cant wait to see more mainline out of IAH (replacing UAX in some routes).
