The Fleet Status site is:

https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.

To determine which plane your flight will be on go to https://www.cablepick.net/united#

Just enter your flight number, date, origin and destination. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.

Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.

You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

This week I saw two safety cards that referenced sUA models not shown on the wiki. B777-200 77H and 77Y and B757-200 57U and 57X.

I took my 757 farewell flight on N543UA from DEN to ORD yesterday. The next time I travel the domestic config 757 fleet will be gone. I will miss these planes. Even though they are the same diameter tube as a 737 they somehow feel more roomy.

It's interesting that they are combining the cards for the two fleets. Previously they were separate.

57X does not appear on the list. Which version is this?

57X is the sUA 757 domestic not sure if it was a standard one, ETOPS one or overwater. 75J is the code for the sUA PS 757s (Will change to 75K when cockpit conversions are complete)

57X were the sUA domestic 752s with ETOPS and winglets. All of these are gone.

Out of curiosity what do the cockpit conversions consist of? Is this the Rockwell Collins upgrade (http://www.rockwellcollins.com/sitec...44-767LDS.aspx or something else?

I'm not qualified to answer that specifically, but the conversions will create an identical cockpit for the 752, 753, 763, and 764 fleets, which will all be flown by a single pilot group. That's the reason for the conversion at least

73G N17752 scheduled to exit MIA 27Jan with Wifi and scimitars

753 N57862 now showing in-seat power for F/E+ (N57869 still not showing power)

I just thought of something, perhaps silly ...

When Boeing delivers new birds, do they just fill up the tanks for the flight or are they full? Suppose they couldn't even do that if it were to exceed Minimum Landing Weight (Delivery being such a short flight)
