The Fleet Status site is:

https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.

To determine which plane your flight will be on go to https://www.cablepick.net/united#

Just enter your flight number, date, origin and destination. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.

Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.

You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

Can you hint at what the configuration will look like? In the forward cabin the sCO 777's seat 26 lie flats using the sCO BF seat. Bunky and Jose (I think) have mentioned there will be 28 seats.

For my personal flying in 2016, my two goals are to fly on this newly configured 777 as well as on the 773ER. I live on GUM and will not wait for these aircraft to fly here - I'll find them and try flying on them this year. I have heeps of GPU's and RPU's to use this year for this purpose. Please keep us posted. Thanks to all!

772:
N211UA entered XMN 2175/9Jan
N212UA entered HKG 2137/8Jan
Outside possibility 211 and/or 212 could be getting new Lie Flat seats

UA 328/383 HNL-DEN will be on pmco 752 until 04APR16

So we can assume 10Feb will roughly be the date a new-domestic config 772 started? or maybe 2514 back flying again, giving 2019 was test flying already.

I would assume it's similar to CO 772 config. J seats are between 1L and 2L doors. Total 5 rows, 2-2-2 across, 1AB seat will exist due to different lavatory locations on pmua 772s (near cockpit), but no 5DE seat due to additional galley space behind.

Makes sense to me...

1AB through 5AB = 10 seats
1HJ through 5HJ = 10 seats
1DE through 4DE = 8 seats

28 seats in total

While that is less than Delta it is still more than AA (63) will have.
where are you getting that number?

i'm showing 74 777 and 80 757

They are not going to do one in SFO but the rest in HKG, just like PMUA IPTE reconfig were all done in HKG as well. 2514 had been laying up in SFO since October of last year, if anything is goiing to be done with the interior, it would have done by now

Potential to route the a/c back through GUM after refurb for entry into revenue service on the GUM-HNL flights. It could work, you know...

I know they are receiving one but what it consists of I'm not sure. I've been looking around online trying to find out but haven't come across anything.

Someone else here may know though

I suspect the earnings call on 21-Jan @ 9:30am CST where they announce a lot of these kinds of things is going to relatively filled with fleet updates. There's been quite a few rumors floating around of late on fleet acquisitions.

I've summarized the rumors and what I'm hoping is confirmed on the call below:

-Confirmation of the 42 A319 leases from AirCap with tentative dates of delivery to UA. Previously we had heard 11-25 units with the possibility of a handful of former Spirit units
-Possible announcement of a 30 unit Boeing order for new aircraft. Rumors are pointing to the order consisting of 73Gs
-Confirmation of 6 new 738s, possibly part of the 30 unit Boeing order. Also possible these are used Copa 738s
Confirmation of 6 new 739s, possibly part of the 30 unit Boeing order.
-Confirmation of purchase of additional used Copa 73Gs, quantity unknown
