LAX-EWR Why is it still showing up as First Class (P) on Booking?

Hi all,

New to the forums. Anyways, with the recent shifting of p.s. service from JFK to EWR, I've booked flights in discount business, but was wondering why it still shows up as United First (P).

Seat selection shows a 757-200 aircraft with V2 configuration (so lieflat seats). Guessing maybe the United website is still in a transition phase?

Looking forward to the flight which is booked for around Thanksgiving.^ Was able to snag a saver award for the return flight on Sunday.

Any thoughts?

Hi there: Welcome to Flyertalk!

Can you provide the dates that your looking at?

I just searched EWR to LAX on November 06 and I see BusinessFirst listed.

Sounds like the typical .bomb hiccup. If the seat map shows lie flats you're good.

All seats for LAX-EWR will be lie flat in the front of the cabin, starting from 10/25, so you should be OK.

The nomenclature did not change for a while for JFK-LAX (i.e., Business vs. BusinessFirst) either.

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm guessing it must be a hiccup on United's part too -- it's a 752 with V2 configuration, and booked one with V3 configuration on the return flight.

Here's what it looked like when I booked -- but now when looking at my itineraries, it's no longer glitched and is correctly showing up as BusinessFirst.
