Do the 77Ws have the curved GE90 logo painted on the engines like the sCo 777s?

I think a connection would be worth avoiding the sardine can, but could be tough if you need the PQM/PQDs. I don't track Delta, so no idea if they will eventually succumb to the 10 across nonsense.

If it ever comes to it, I would look toward Premium Economy with other carriers as well. I am not sitting in the back of the new 777s

The difference is: Delta only have a handful of planes that can get 17" seats: they don't have many 777s, they've just cancelled the 787, and that leaves the 737s on shorter flights. It's close to impossible for them to muck up their 767/A330/A350s.

Not on the outboard side of the engine like the legacy-CO 772 do.

I actually like the idea of parking at D and going through security at D instead. Sadly baggage claim goes back to C. D seems to have almost no lines especially for premier/precheck.

Saw the 77W at IAH, where's it heading next?

About the tracks in the middle, is there any reason why they're like that for United? I don't think all 777-300s are like this; I'm thinking of ANA's 777-300 that are in the 3-4-3 config as an example; the space underneath were certainly divided up per seat.

Conversely, are there any trip reports for those who were forced to sit in the middle section on planes that have the 2-track division? How did it actually play out in real life?

ORD. As for the 77W parking at IAH Terminal D it was just for that flight. If IAH gets regularly scheduled 77W service they will park at C & E.

Actually D2 is pretty close to UA's C north gate. It's scheduled to park at D11 earlier which is really next to UA hanger by the taxiway.(And visible for all traffic entering from east side of the terminal area.)

A photo from the bulkhead row suggests ANA are the same:

But photos of a normal row has a confusing perspective:

AA seem to have the same:

And AC too:

Air NZ has confusing perspective:

The ANA I flew on (IAH-NRT, NRT-SIN) were more like this config; you don't see the whole row but it is clear that there's one section per seat. This matches up more so with the confusing perspective:

http://weekendblitz.com/ana-flight-n...rt-b777-300er/ (scroll down to the economy row picture)

Those appear to be newer seats than the original picture with the 2-track.

Its 3-4-3, if you do a dummy booking on ANA's website for IAH-NRT you'll see that layout.

That article looks like the 2-4-3 plane though (ie the square seat shell, and the seatmap)?

(My understanding was that 3-4-3 is only on West-coast flights, and occasionally ORD, and that East coast is always 3-3-3, but I've never tracked any other location ie IAH.)

Argh I missed that. However I found a better picture of a 3-4-3 777-300ER ANA; scroll down and you'll see the division in the middle has one section for each seat. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...777-300er.html

I don't know if ANA ever subs in a different config on this route; however when I flew last November it was a 3-4-3.
