Do LH Citiline flights on 016 tickets earn UA PQM/PQD?

Yes. Flew from GRZ to MUC on LH Cityline (actually an Austrian Arrows plane) and it posted properly - well, at least after a few weeks of hassle...

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait -- it has been less than two week.

Whether they earn PQM won't depend on ticket stock but rather on the fare class. Not all LH fare classes earn on MP.

To follow up. I had a V fare. It took two attempts to get PQM posted, but PQD did not. Had to escalate to get PQD posted. Very annoying that so much effort is required for something that is supposed to happen automatically. Probably would not have bothered, but I will have similar flights in the future, and I wanted to make sure they will be PQD eligible.

Lufthansa Cityline was originally Lufthansa's regional brand not unlike what United Express is to United. But, in a more recent effort to circumvent union issues, LH management started flying some longhaul flights on the Lufthansa Cityline certificate with Cityline crew. The planes have a lot more seats in them and are all painted in Star Alliance livery instead of the usual LH colors, and the crew are paid less than LH mainline, but otherwise, it should be the same LH service and not much of a noticeable difference from any other flight.

PQDs -- only on 016 ticket stock
PQMs -- ticket stock does not matter
RDMs -- earnings depend on ticket stock, on 016 stock based PQDs and on non-016 stock based miles traveled
------ multipliers based on fare class or status, see LH MP earnings

I felt the difference transatlantic. Food was the same, price was the same, but the service was not. Felt like an unwanted child set in front of the television: as long as we were quiet and watching something, they didn't feel the need to keep up any service, instead hiding. Had to regularly remind them that pax want and need water during a long flight. To top it off, the plane in FRA had to park far away on the apron, waited long for buses, hand-carrying everything up and down the stepladder, riding the bus for what seemed like forever, and priority luggage coming out last of all luggage.

If this is now the standard for Lufthansa, so be it.

My experience is that the Cityline flights Post like regular Lufthansa. In fact, they show as "Lufthansa" in my mileage activity.
