In April I applied a RPU to a Copa.com purchased flight and still received the 25% PQM bonus.

I called CM now to ensure that the promotion is also applicable in this case. Agent told me that in this case I would not get the bonus miles.
What?????
Was it an uninformed agent or is it really true?
Anybody with similar experience?

When I bought the ticket I was able to reserve it on copaair.com but the page was generating errors when trying to pay so I needed help of an CM agent to complete the reservation.
I called CM now to ensure that the promotion is also applicable in this case. Agent told me that in this case I would not get the bonus miles.
