This.

I cannot believe the pics I've seen of UA's 787 with triangle patterns all over the seats. It's a crime to make a brand new plane look like a museum piece.

And don't get me started on installing a business seat without direct aisle access.

So here's the question I'd love to ask Jeff Smisek - you have a brand new "game changing" aircraft, and you don't take that opportunity to update your dated interior design? Why????

I'm not a fan of the seat covers, but it's not that dated. If anything, it's the typical generic American aircraft interior. Blue, blue, and more blue.

I wish they'd add a brushed aluminum globe logo to the bulkhead a la Lufthansa. It's tasteful, IMO.

Just bumping this thread on those awful 763s...is it confirmed that IAH LIM is now a consistent BF config vs those awful domestic F seats?

Yes IAH - LIM is now being flown exclusively with the updated interiors.

I just flew one of the 2-class 763's IAH-EWR yesterday... Fabulous. Simply fab. Had a fantastic flight and man, I forgot how comfy those lie-flats really are. Been a while since I've been in one.

Good stuff - a marvelous refit of a great plane.
