I just got an email titled, "Correction: Liven up your winter with a getaway."

It's the same body as the previous ABC one.

I guess they were too proud to point out what the correction was.

i've found that setting your email preferences in your profile to a very bare bones communication preference (ie, flight status and upgrade notifications only enabled) really tames the firehose of spam coming from UA. i average about 2 emails a week from UA, one of which is the e-saver and the other usually has to do with one of the credit cards. of course, i don't ever get flight status, upgrade, or schedule change notifications but at least if they ever get that fixed i'm "in theory" going to get them.

Epic mail fail United.... Much like the rest of you, in the same day, it's been a while since my last trip from Newark and I should liven up my winter with a trip from Newark.....

I wonder which genius thought it would be good to send a correction.

Oh man, I'm jealous. Mine didn't even have a city in it.

I guess they can't figure out where I live. They only have my complete mailing address including ZIP code.

Its a trick. They are using the emails to distract us from talking about the change of cracker suppliers at the United Clubs.
