Perhaps they should send me an email saying its been a while since I traveled from Oakland... oh wait! Too bad UA doesn't fly to Oakland anymore.
And its been 10 years since I lived in Boston.

I got NYC, which was a one-way LGA/BOS/SFO a year and a half ago, and just about my last UA flight of any sort. I was more expecting an "Eastbay1K, Are You Still Alive?" promotion.

DC. Yes, I visit DC once a year (bicycle lobby event). But I've never used it as a launching point to go someplace else.
You've got to wonder about United and low-lying fruit. How easy must it be to look up my history and send me something relevant?
"Mike, we notice that France is one of your favorite places. Have we got a deal for you!"
Sent during the off-season, that might generate some interest.
Or "Mike, we've taken you to France, England, Egypt, Australia & China. Here's a few new places for you to consider, during our Winter Fare Sale..."

I really don't know whether to laugh or cry. An airline without a death wish might even have thought of e-mailing me to say "We notice you've only flown two itineraries on UA this year, we want you back, try us again, the trouble is all behind us now!". Even if they believed that, they'd be too arrogant and incompetent to notice my disappearance and try to woo me back. Instead I get some crap about how to book a flight originating 3,670 miles away from home, without any incentives whatsoever.

I got the "... last trip from Cleveland" message. My lasst flight out ws Nov 9, and my next one is next week. As someone else pointed out, maybe I'm expected to do this thrice-weekly or something.
